Festulolium

Lolium x Festuca Pratense
Varieties of Festulolium are obtained by crossing perennial or Italian ryegrass and meadow fescue. Festulolium combines winter-hardiness and forage quality as can be expected from this crossing. It establishes quickly and produces good forage in the spring. Festulolium is a good species to include in forage mixtures.

Barfest

Barfest is a new festulolium variety. It is bred for later maturity and better persistence. Barfest is winter-hardy and palatable to all kinds of livestock. Barfest shows good rust resistance and likes heavier soils.
